Summer kimono outfits seem so perfect for the season. The kimono is always a great way to cover up and add some color to your ensemble while keeping you looking fashion-forward.
Since many are quite colorful, they can act as a perfect accessory to the basics in your closet, there are certainly some solid pastel-colored kimonos, but the majority of them are bright-colored or vibrant prints. They’re probably your
go-to summer look. While the sun’s still out to play, take your
shorts and tan-fit to the next level with a bright and breezy kimono as a
layering piece. However, they’re so playful and versatile, they can really be
worn any time. Kimonos are always effortless, are super easy to pack and wear,
as the lengths fit perfectly to all kinds of pants. Style them with shorts, a
dress or jeans, or wear them for a casual day at the beach. They're usually a
lightweight garment, this can be useful for traveling, and because of the
movement make for pretty awesome photos.
I truly believe this
is one item that you don’t have to spend a lot of money on, yet they look
perfect with so many looks. Since they can be worn with almost
anything and can look anywhere from coquettish to bohemian depending on the
palette and print, and how you style them. You can wear them in a few different
ways to make new outfits, there are kimono options ranging from sleeveless to
long sleeves. The ones that have at least a half sleeve tend to be the most
popular for many women in the older age groups. And if you love your casual
basics, try layering an embroidered kimono to add more depth and texture to
your most reliable outfit.
For particular types of kimono there are different options depending on the occasion, place and
time, for example, weddings, and other formal events. Outside
of these times, however, it is ok to style and wear it whenever and however you
want to. There are really no rules about when you can't and can wear a kimono,
they’re all-season pieces you can wear with tees and tanks during the spring
and summer. And pair with thermals and long-sleeved tees during the fall and
winter. Plus, they are super flexible in terms of sizing. They can be worn
before, during and after pregnancy, plus-size women for example may be able
to shop the higher end of straight-size styles. Straight size women may be able
to shop the smaller end of plus size styles.
As we know, sometimes
the characteristic that makes something great can also be viewed from the
opposite lens. It’s good that the kimonos are relaxed and loose-fitting,
but this can also be a disadvantage for a silhouette reason. Silhouettes are
something to consider when getting dressed. it’s usually a better look with a
more form-fitting bottom half if your top half is voluminous. Your kimono may
look best with your skirts, straight dresses or fitted pants. Kimonos are one
of the most versatile pieces you can have in your wardrobe so have a look
through Moss Rose VEP collection, most of them are made of a breathable and soft hand feel material, and their prints and colors are actually
perfect for summer.
